Welcome to the 'Torfaen Exchange' - your local social network.

The Exchange is where you can debate the issues that matter in your community.  A place to share experiences, create new networks, make new friends and influence local decisions.  If you want to have more of a say on what happens around you, want to be more involved in civic and community matters or just debate the big issues with the people living in your communities, then the Exchange is waiting to hear from you.

We care passionately about making public services in Torfaen the best they can be, and that means they are delivering the outcomes that you want to see.  By exchanging new ideas, conversations, experiences and information, together we can make Torfaen a better place for everyone.

Over the last 6 weeks Torfaen County Borough Council and Gwent Police have been working together to trial this system.  We created a conversation called Bringing People Together and have had many people voicing their opinions and giving us ideas on the theme Community Cohesion.  In Bringing People together you can view all those conversations in the forum.

We are now about to evaluate this system; to see if it's a useful way for us, as Public Services and you, as members of the public to engage with one another.
